This Privacy Notice explains how the School of Sensual Massage, the educational platform of Intimacy Matters (“we”, “us”, “our”), collects and uses your personal data. 2. Information we collect
We may collect: your name and contact details (email, phone); information you provide in Application, Enquiry and call-request forms; details relevant to your interest in a course, your goals and any information you choose to share; booking and payment information; and correspondence between us.
Some information you provide may be sensitive in nature (“special category data”) given the subject matter of our work, for example information that could relate to your relationships, sexuality or health. We only collect such information where you choose to provide it and where we have a lawful basis to do so.

- Through your participation in our courses, events and community platform
4. Why we use your data and our lawful basis
- To respond to your enquiries and process applications and bookings — performance of a contract and our legitimate interests
- To send course information, PDFs and materials you have requested — consent and/or contract
- To send newsletters and marketing — your consent, which you may withdraw at any time
- To take payment and keep financial records — legal obligation and contract
- To keep you safe and run sessions appropriately — legitimate interests and, for special category data, your explicit consent
5. Sharing your information
We do not sell your personal data. We may share it with trusted service providers who help us operate, such as our form provider (Formstack), email and newsletter tools, website host (Cloudflare), our community platform (Honeycommb) and payment providers (including PayPal). Where you ask us to, and only with your consent, we may refer you to an associate expert (for example a dating coach, psychosexual therapist, life-transition coach or web designer).
Some of these providers are based outside the UK. Where data is transferred internationally, we take steps to ensure it is protected by appropriate safeguards.
6. Marketing and our newsletter
If you subscribe, we will send you our newsletter and related updates. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time by contacting us.
7. Cookies
Our website uses only essential functionality and does not run intrusive tracking. Any third-party embedded content (such as forms) may set its own cookies, governed by that provider’s policy.
8. How long we keep your data
We keep your personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes set out above, to meet legal and accounting obligations, and to manage our relationship with you. When it is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymise it.
